Pause
Step away from constant input and stimulation.
One day to switch off from the noise — and tune back into yourself.
Please note: guests will need to bring their own yoga mat.
“Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you.”— Anne Lamott
Your phone wakes you up.
Before you’ve properly opened your eyes, there are messages, emails, news, WhatsApp, work, family, lists and notifications.
And even when you finally sit down…
your mind doesn’t.
If that sounds familiar, this day is for you.
Unplug & Reconnect is a one-day wellbeing retreat for people who feel constantly switched on.
No extreme detox. No punishing fitness. No complicated wellness regime. And no pressure to become a “new you”.
We simply want to help you feel more like yourself again: calmer, clearer, more present, more connected to your body and better able to recognise what you actually need.
Ready to feel more like yourself again?
Book Your PlaceThree simple ideas sit at the heart of the day.
Step away from constant input and stimulation.
Notice what is happening in your mind and body.
Use what you discover to make better choices for the way you actually live.
Simple. Practical. And surprisingly easy to forget in a busy life.
We tend to ignore the quieter signals.
We keep going. Until the body has to speak a little louder.
At Unplug & Reconnect, Dr Kapil Chawla will introduce a different way of thinking about wellbeing.
What if your body isn’t simply giving you problems? What if it’s giving you information?
Drawing on the ideas behind his book PrecisiOM™ — The Universal Integrating Intelligence, Dr Chawla will explore the connection between stress, breath, emotions, the mind and the body — not as separate pieces, but as one whole person.
We don’t want you to leave with a lovely feeling that disappears by Monday morning. We want you to leave understanding yourself a little better.
Create space when your mind feels overloaded.
Recognise your own signs of stress and depletion.
Use your breath as a practical tool for slowing down.
Release tension through gentle, restorative movement.
Notice habits that keep you constantly stimulated.
Explore the relationship between food, energy, digestion and mood.
Create simple routines and boundaries that fit into real life.
Less distracted. Less rushed. More here.
No flights. No suitcase. No seven-day commitment.
Just one very well-spent day.
Big reset · Small journey
Unhurried. Deliberate. Made to feel like a proper pause.
Walk in. Put the outside world down. And yes… we mean the phone too.
We’ll begin slowly, give you time to settle and create a clear boundary between everyday life and the day ahead.
For a little while, nobody needs anything from you. Enjoy that sentence.
We begin with a short guided meditation followed by a gentle restorative practice. Stretch. Breathe. Release. Notice.
This isn’t exercise for the sake of burning calories. It is movement designed to bring your attention back into your body.
Never done yoga? Fine. Feeling stiff? Also fine. Can’t touch your toes? We genuinely don’t mind. Come exactly as you are.
Ever picked up your phone to check one thing… and somehow lost 25 minutes? You’re not alone.
Expect practical ideas, honest conversation and probably a few uncomfortable recognitions. Maybe some laughter too.
This is the heart of the day.
Dr Kapil Chawla is a physician, functional medicine practitioner, author and TEDx speaker whose work explores whole-person health. He asks a deceptively simple question:
What happens when we stop treating the mind and body as separate things?
Drawing on his PrecisiOM™ model, Dr Chawla will explore:
Complex ideas. Explained like a human conversation. Our favourite kind.
Before lunch, our chefs will introduce the thinking behind your meal.
We’ll explore how what we eat can influence energy, digestion, mood, concentration — and how we feel afterwards.
No calorie counting. No food guilt. No long list of things you’re never allowed to eat again. Just better awareness.
Food should nourish you. But we also think it should make you smile when it arrives.
Enjoy a colourful, freshly prepared, sattvic-inspired vegetarian lunch created especially for the retreat. Sit down. Talk. Taste your food. Eat slowly. Enjoy it.
And yes… there will be dessert. Because wellbeing should still contain joy.
Something happens when we sit around a table together. We talk. We listen. We laugh. We stop rushing.
You don’t have to spend the whole day analysing yourself. Meet someone new. Share an idea. Or simply enjoy being around people who have also decided that life has become a little too noisy.
Feeling wonderful for one day is nice. Feeling better on a random Wednesday three weeks later? Much more interesting.
Before you leave, we’ll help you turn the day into a simple personal reset.
Not 20 new habits. Not a 5am routine. Not another spreadsheet measuring your wellbeing. Just a few changes that make sense for your life.
Small changes. Practised consistently.
One day. Two dates. Choose yours.
See Dates & BookOr perhaps… nothing is dramatically wrong. You’re simply tired of being constantly on. That is reason enough.
Several hours without being permanently reachable. Imagine.
Whole-person health explained clearly and practically.
Slow, restorative and beginner-friendly. No Lycra Olympics.
Three beautiful vegetarian courses. Proper nourishment. Proper flavour. Proper dessert.
Interesting people. Shared experiences. Real connection.
A small group. No rushing. Room to breathe.
A meaningful reset without disappearing for a week.
Not transformed into a completely different person. That sounds exhausting. We'd rather you left feeling…
Less mentally noisy.
As though you’ve put something down.
About what your body needs.
Without feeling overstimulated.
In your body and in your life.
With a handful of tools you can actually use tomorrow.
And perhaps most importantly… more like yourself.

Barsha’s approach to yoga is simple.
Yoga shouldn’t be another thing you have to perform well at.
Her restorative session is designed to help you slow down, breathe, move gently and reconnect with your body — whether you’ve practised yoga for years or have never stepped onto a mat before.
One unforgettable day, in the setting that suits you.

Just because your wellbeing matters too.
You don’t have to wait until you’re exhausted to rest. You don’t have to wait until your body shouts before you listen. And you don’t need to completely change your life.
Sometimes… you just need to interrupt the pattern.
One day. Good food. Gentle movement.
Fascinating ideas. Real conversations. Less screen. More space.
You are more than your to-do list.
We’ll take care of the experience, the food and the rest. You just need to bring:
Mats will not be provided — please bring one you feel comfortable practising on.
Stay hydrated throughout the day.
A light jumper, shawl or extra layer is lovely to have during meditation and relaxation.
No special yoga outfit required — simply something you can move and relax in.
Yes, bring it. We’ll just encourage you to give it a little rest while you’re with us.
Choose the setting that feels right for you.
Not sure whether this retreat is for you, or simply want to talk it through before deciding? We’re happy to have a quick conversation.
